Horse Thief Hollow is a private ranch with some interesting topography.
For the runner, that means a lot of elevation change. The hills are steep,
and I mean very steep. Early September should still be hot, and with the
difficulty of the course, we decided to put the aid stations closer together.
(Aids at 2mi, 4m, 6mi, 9mi, 10m). We are not
providing cups, so bring your own water bottle.

DC Adventures is a mini summer camp set up in the front of a 550 acre ranch that offers activities like
Rockwall, swimming, gaga ball, archery, camp crafts, pickleball, sand volleyball, field
games and of course our double tier high ropes challenge course. Families and
individuals are welcome to participate. There are activities for all ages. In addition,
there will be a food truck near the activities for all to enjoy. So bring your family to play while you run.
